This is my Story
From a young age I had a very unhealthy relationship to food and myself. I was transfixed by diet culture and obsessed with what I ate, food rules and losing weight. I had no confidence and felt worthless because I was a perfectionist. I also grew up in the midwest, very "meat & potatoes" and dairy country. I never felt great before, during or after eating.
I went vegetarian in college after learning about how awful we treat animals in industrialized agriculture, and years later while living abroad I noticed some huge cultural differences in how screwed up we treat food and eating in the U.S. There isn't a focus on balance and living in the moment in our culture.
When I went plant-based vegan, I felt incredible shifts physically and mentally. I no longer felt awful after eating, I felt content and happy, no matter how much I ate. Food was no longer evil - we THRIVE on plants!
I’ve taken my personal experiences and education, and poured the passion I have for this lifestyle into 1-1 coaching, The Plant-Based Path course and my Recipe E-Book! All of these are included in my program.
